Kerala’s first industry tourism campus, Swisston, has commenced operations in Kuthuparamba, Kannur. The soft launch of the facility was inaugurated by Hon. Minister P. Rajeev. This marks the beginning of South India’s largest particle board manufacturing unit, built with cutting-edge European technology and infrastructure. Swisston aims to produce high-quality, pre-laminated particle boards that are not only durable but also available in a wide range of designs and shades.

Spread across 12 acres with an investment of ₹100 crore for its first phase, the campus stands as a benchmark in industrial innovation and learning. In addition to manufacturing, the facility is open to architects, engineers, and aspiring entrepreneurs who wish to understand the complete process of particle board production. This unique blend of industry and tourism makes it a significant landmark and an educational hub.

As part of their commitment to sustainability, the Swisston campus also features a Miyawaki food forest, a Miyawaki biodiversity forest, and a dedicated garden of medicinal and herbal plants, further enriching the environment and the learning experience.
